Before applying, please make sure that the program dates and times work for you. Students are allowed to both apply and take multiple programs during the summer, as long as there is not overlap. Please fill out each application separately.

Raina Leon: 6-7:30p EST on Sundays *Please note that LIVE TO WRITE is primarily focused on submission queries, working with agents, etc. It is NOT a writing workshop-based program, and more a learning program for new writers to the field. If you are looking for something different, please see our All Ages workshop.
We recommend no more than 1000 words total for prose submissions. If the format of your work does not allow for easy upload, please send your work as a PDF to tyler@thespeakeasyproject.net with "[Your Name], [Workshop Name] [Workshop Year] Application" in the Subject Line.

Absentee Policy *
During our programs, if students are missing or unresponsive for a total of more than eight (8) days after repeated efforts from staff and mentors to connect, we reserve the right to remove them from the program barring extreme circumstances or previous acknowledgement. Please affirm your consent to this absentee policy below.
Withdrawal Policy *
If a student withdraws from the program after the first lecture or workshop, they are not entitled to a refund for the program. Individual cases can be discussed for extreme circumstances, such as personal health, family emergency, etc.
